1:07 pm	i heart half days Yeah so today is a half day so me and Christina did the traditional thing by going downtown eating at the gourmet then eating cookie dough (mmm)as we were cutting through the middle school we ran into ms gifford and kelsey who was folding a whole lot of playbills.then laura came in the room calling christina katrina which was funny. so when we got to the drug store i bought a certain thing for a certain joke and of course it was just embaressing buying it. and the cashier knew i was up to no good lol... and of course kaitlin had to pretend like i actually needed it so that was funny. .... i can't wait until i give it -aLi (Comment on this)

6:48 pm	Sex offenders and Auditions Yesterday we had an interesting assembly about the crimes of sex offending. We learned that apparently we can't get any action from other kids our own age until we're 16. Doesn't matter to me since I'm already a goody goody. During this assembly I sat with Christina and Miles and Cassie were behind us. The lady asked for a definition of "friends with benefits" and I gave what Miles called a "text book" definition. It was quite amusing... ah I love making stupid assemblies fun. Then at the end the Lady was like "information travels fast, who here has an online journal?" then me and christina raise our arms "talks online?" me and christina raise our arms "puts pictures up on a website?" me and christina raise our arms. then we look at eachother and are like "yeah we have all of that... we're losers" then the lady was like "if u put sexual pictures up then people will find it" then me and christina look at eachother and are like "definately do not have those kind of pictures" After school today we had auditions for the 1 act plays it was interesting to see that there were so few people auditioning, but then again there were people already in Anthony's and Valerie's plays so they probably didn't want to do another one. Most of the turn was just us freshmen lol. I'm glad that its actually people I like from our grade that auditioned because I pretty much despise most of the kids in our grade. My monolauge was the Ceasar speach by Gretchen from Mean Girls I thought everyone might still appreciete it even if I sucked, but I think I did okay. Everyone did awesome! 3:31 pm	Robotics Trip The Robotics trip this weekend was just filled with pure awesomity. Basically heres the rap up. Thursday- Headed up to the Atrium to meet the team, but first I stopped by Valerie's room to get my suitcase. While in Valerie's room the film class was in there... well filming. and they wanted to know if i could be i their show and dance and so I did... like a fool. No clue what it was for. Then I got to the lobby and waited with the rest of the team. I was just sitting there on my suitcase and Chandrew comes over and pretends to push me over, but the funny thing is he actually did by mistake which caused me to fall on my ass. Finally the bus came and we departed. The bus ride was filled with movies such as Napoleon Dynamite and Shaun of the Dead and eating Burger King.. yum. When we actually got to the big city everyone under 18 had to wait outside the hotel so we wouldn't be charged extra for the rooms... and that took a while. Finally I got my room and it was awesome.. great overlook of ground zero even though that really isn't something you want to see nowadays. I went out to dinner with Katie's mom and siblings. Then finally Katie got to the room and we decided to go bathing suit shopping but Century 21 was closed so we headed for Starbucks and I had my favorite carmel frap grande. Friday- First day of competition. It was disapointing that we didn't do so hot but it was still really really exciting to watch. Our team had no spirit, but then again when you're sitting right next to Brooklyn, Statan Island and Manhattan's team its a little bit intimidating. It was so much fun.. Katie got into war of Twister with this girl from team 555 Montclair, NJ it was funny. Our bot doing poorly made the day go by slowly so i vowed that I would be having a fun night and staying out.. but I did not intend to stay out too late. At night half of us ended up going to Little Italy on Sean's suggestion and then the other half went to some Irish Pub near the hotel. Little Italy was awesome, we found this great resturant were there was this guy who played the guitar on my head as well as Ben and Sean's heads. Then this retarded hobo came in and pulled a string from the cieling and the room's brightness was off and on so we all look up and notice that there was a light in the shape of a penis right above us. They soon kicked the hobo out and the guy kept playing. When we were done we walked around for a while, then we stopped and Mike Strickland was like "yeah so you guys know how to get back, right? We'll so you guys tomorrow morning at 7" so him, Adam S. and Chandrew leave us. So this ended us up in the longest subway rides ever. Lets just it was long, tireing and getting lost isn't fun. So we finally ended up at the hotel at 11:45pm and we were suppose to be there at 11pm. So I krept in slowly and Katie was up like a mother saying to me "You are in so much trouble" so I tried explaining to her what happened it was so funny. Then I saw that Nic had left me a note saying "Ali, 7am" with a frown face. Nic and Chandrew came knocking at the door2 minutes later giving me dirty looks... it was embaressing. Saturday Last day of competitions... really sad since I had just started to understand the art of robotics. It was even more sad when we didn't when anything at all. I guess getting into the 2nd half of the competition was a big deal though... we did have to yell for it to the top 8 picking. Next year I swear I'm gonna learn something so I can actually contribute besides making brownies and organizing screws. It was really depressing when I was watching and I didn't realize that it was over and our team was getting up from the stands and Nate was like "Come on its over". I soon collected some neat buttons while everyone was putting the bot back in the box. I went over to the British team to see if they had any buttons they didn't but they had British money instead which was cute. When we started to head out of the building 2 people had to go into Adam's van to make room... I offered but Mr. McFarland said I should stay so then all the sophmores wouldn't offer at all so the seniors and juniors got pissed off and vowed they wouldn't talk to the underclassman except for me. So then I was allowed to be in their circle. Greg didn't really get the picture so kept bothering us and people At 6pm we started to wait for the bus which was suppose to come at 6:30pm so we waited and wait and then found out that it went to the hotel and not the competition. Then the circle decided to sit on the ground and play black jack with Nate's Most Wanted Cards but then a truck was coming and we were in the way to we had to get up. Then we (Nic, Nate, Katie, Sean, Ben and myself) start heading out of the park to get some dinner we took forever getting to Taco Bell/ Pizza Hut and Katie and Ben decided that they wanted McDonald's instead so they left. The rest of us thought we were gonna be so late, but when we got back we had to wait like another maybe 45 mins. Finally when the bus did get there we had our plain to get in the back. and Katie picked the farthest back seats (good job, katie!). The bus ride home was filled w/ singing songs and Katie and Ben quoteing Mighty Python, me being made an honorary junior at the pit stop and me falling asleep with Jone's cap on w/ my mouth wide open which aparently was a site and it probably was. I was pretty upset to get home. Those 2 days were awesome. 9:32 pm	Long Week Its been a long week especially with all the rehersals and crap. Basically just rehersals. Yeah yesterday was pathetic.. I'm not going to go into it all I will say is that we were suppose to do a run through which would have given me a rough amount of time of how long this whole thing is, but then someone left so it we couldn't. Tuesday was hilarious during rehersal in Valerie's room a group of us had a discussion on private parts wow all i can say is that i definately learn a lot from the drama crowd. That same day we stayed until really late so during the hour break I went over Molly's house and had meat loaf for the first time which was ver tasty lol. Today we got out at a pretty decent time so I was happy. Oh I found tonight from Adam that the dance is from 7-11. Hopefully I'll find some way to get out of the last act.. i would hate to skip the last act because its really 2 acts combined but I really can't be late for the dance at all. wow I really need to talk to kate about saturday plans. I'm only going if I can get a ride there.. but kate if you're reading this don't worry I'll pay you back either way so you'll have money for the iPod. -aLi (Comment on this)

5:36 pm	major update So much to say wowsers.. so this calls for a major update! A lot of things have been happening this week. I don't have to look for a Cotilleon date ... thank god, Adam asked me to his semi formal on Sunday so I just asked him to mine too. So I get to go to a dance on March 10 yay to that, but the only bad thing about is that I'm gonna have to run out of the Thursday performance of Inherit the Wind like a bullet so I can get to Worcester, but I much rather go to a dance then sit around on stage doing absolutely nada, but I think I'll be able to do both the play isn't that long. The school week actually went by pretty fast, although I was getting really sick of the shit around me with the play and all. The play will come together, but I'm sick of all these people who just don't fricken show up to rehersals and they actually have lines... like hello be proud Valerie gave you lines instead going the way I'm going and the closest to lines I have is pantemiming conversations. People just need to be a little bit more committed... yeah I'm gonna stop talking right now because in the previous paragraph I talk about how I might leave early to go to a dance. Although rehersals can be tough they are like always a ton of fun except for when Larry the janitor comes in the auditorium hes so annoying because he comes in and tells us to get out if we have soda or food on us. Yeah last rehersal was weird though because Anthony got his iPod stolen and I'm not gonna say who the suspect is but it was pretty obvious that it was him because he had no buissness being in the auditorium. Honestly who the hell steals an iPod? I mean the kid is gonna need the cord to charge it and the software to put more music on it. So now its vacation, I love the sound of that. I already watched the Virgin Suicides a few times, then I watched Napoleon Dynamite today which I hadn't seen in a flippin' thousand years. 9:13 pm	unknown things and a question from gifford This morning started off on the wrong foot. In English we had a vocab test which I thought was tomorrow, but I used Allie's flash cards so hopefully that helped me a little bit. So that was an unknown thing. Another unknown thing is... who the hell keeps taking out the pen cap thingy out of my locker? I swear this person either hates me or they just want me to use my locker like everyone else... but I can't because I just naturally suck at opening locks. After school I was walking around during Robotics and I saw Zach and I told him my idea that we should go over to the middle school and say a quick hello to ms. gifford and ms. nelson. So his mom drove to the middle school and we went into the auditorium and Zach was telling them how we got there and that we just wanted to say hi. Then he goes away and walks down the isle to talk to some other people and I'm about to do the same when ms.gifford is like "ali, can u come over here?" so I walk over and shes like "closer"... "closer" then she was all secretive "ali, are you and zach (points to him w/ pencil) mhmmhmhmh.. you know" and I'm like "No" It was so funny because she usually doesn't ask that kind of stuff and when I did her plays there were always hookups (lol wow i can't believe I just said that) and she never asked even though she probably secretly knew lol. After I left the auditorium Colleen took me over to gifford's room so I could rate Connor before he auditioned... he was pretty good. 10:16 pm	fulled FULLED day yeah today was okay I guess. Nothing special happened... rehersal was hilarious. So I walk in the room as some of the guys are hanging from the ceiling. So I go up on a chair and see how far I'm from the bar thingy. Then people are like you're not going to get it... then Kelly Horan jokingly said "yeah yeah try to get it" I jump on the chair trying to get it. "Well I need someone to pick me up" now I really wanted to get hang from the ceiling. then I say again "i need someone to pick me up" then 2 secs later andrew comes from behind me and lifts me up from my legs and anothony was right infront of me watching... then I got really scared so I started screaming I was trying to grab anthony it was so funny. and I still couldn't reach it so anthony was like lift her up higher. I started screaming at anthony then I finally went down and then everyone was laughing at me and anthony made an impersonation of me and managed to throw in a good old cock breath joke. So tonight I went to the Talentless show at the middle school. Stressed out about a lot of things that I don't really want to say here. I talked to Pat about what happened... Pat, if you ever read this thank you and I'm sorry if I ruined the night with all that crap. During intermission I sat around the music room and listened to those 2 teachers playing Green Eyes.. which was awesome, then I went into the cafe to get some water but they were sold out and by the time I got change for a dollar which was preposterous (thank you once again Pat for helping me out w/ that one) the mother volunteers wouldn't let me get anything out of the vending machine which pissed me off. So then I decided to sit by Gribbles and talk to him about random stuff and I was basically rambling on so gribbles and christina had to ask a question "Are you drunk?" Then I started talking to this kid cody about random stuff. Wow I think it was actually a lot more fun at the end when we were all just in the main hall way talking about some random stuff (lots of random stuff to talk about I know). Tomorrow is gonna be awesome.. I'm going to get my bottom braces on (ok not that awesome) BUT then I'm going to Cambridge for this informational meeting on NYFA for the summer.... score! -aLi (3 Comments |Comment on this)

4:18 pm	what a glorious day At 1 am in the morning I am waken up by my sister and my dad yelling because apparently there was a squirl running from my dad's room to my sister's room. and i didn't realize that it was 1 am I just thought it was time to wake up but my sister comes in my room with the dog and shes like move over and I'm like what? and she tells me what happened and what time it is. So her and my dog are in my bed they hogged up so much freakin' space. Then my dog takes my sister's space so my sister lays at the foot of the bed it was really sad. Yea so if I looked really bad today it was because I didn't get enough sleep. Today was cool though.my first acting class today and thats gonna be an awesome class. Then I had Wellness and I knew that we were getting our midterms back and I was about what I got because I thought I did really really bad because I knew nothing about CPR. If people wanted to they could go to Ms Welch and ask what grade they got and I said wasn't going. So, Colleen literally has to take my hand and drag me in so I can get it over with. So I'm there and Ms Welch is making me think that I did really bad, but I was glad to find out that I got a 99. phewf. Since we weren't having a real gym class Ms. Place let Colleen and I go to the library because Colleen had to photo copy some stuff. I actually found a book to check out... for those who don't know me I only read on a occasion lol. Then I had English and may I just say that assigned seats suck! Me and Kendra were trying to communicate through fake morse code with our pencils. During Math we were getting all excited because we knew that we were getting out early especially with the annoucement "all teachers check your email" but Mrs Cambell wouldn't admit it for a while and that pissed us off. So we got out early and there was obviously anything after school. Well I gotta run. 11:18 pm	freshman, annoying people and a fashion show Yeah so today was okay I guess. I felt horrible after my Science midterm but then I had to stay after school. An article in the Voice about my people .... the freshmen cheered me up because it was so true and I absolutely hate my grade. There would be times in the article when it was like "yeah they're definately talking about blah blah" Then that article got the people in Valerie's room into a discussion about how the freshmen are either assholes or how we use to be mean or weird... it was very amusing. Also during rehersal we got to try on outfits and I found this cute dress it was pink. So I went into the boys dressing room because no one was in there and I wanted to get my privacy so I get the dress and I'm about to take my pants off but then two guys open the door and scream so I come out with this see through dress (pants were on) on with a huge bow on my head yelling "I hate you!" So funny.. then I saw Megan, Casey and Kendra so they see me in my getup and they start laughing and they already knew that I was wearing it because I guess Christina went over to them and told them what happened. Then I found this sailor dress and tried that on and showed Casey, Christina, Kendra and Megan and they laughed even harder and said it was even dirtier and they started making suggestions to make it sluttier and right when Christina said "all you need are buttons for easy access" then Mr. Kurdy was right there and he heard it because he was like "I wouldn't have expected that to come out of a mouth of such a nice girl" hahaha it was so hilarious. 9:01 pm	ouch thats loud After school we had to watch Inherit the Wind so as I'm waiting there I was talking to Mike about my iPod while I was listening to it. and he takes it while I'm listening and turns the volume up all the way it freaked the crap out of me! then he kept messing with the volume. Then I went into the Robotics room just to see if they were doing anything so while I was gone I let Mike listen to it. I see that there is no one in Robotics and people that are there are just listening to music so I headed back to Valerie's room and Mike handed me my iPod, but I didn't feel like listening to it. Bill Doucette was there playing the guitar so I was trying to request some songs I started singing Over the Rainbow trying to make him play it and he was attempting to play it and he was like "Oh great now I'm gonna go on for like a 1/2 hour trying to play that damn song" then I was like "Can you C-C-C-Cinamon Lips" he didn't know what that was so I handed him my iPod so he could hear it and once it started he was like "AH!" It was turned up all the way. I looked at Mike and he was like "that was intended for you" Glad to know I have people on my side. Then we had to watch the movie... 5:04 pm	weird movie Yeah I just saw the Butterfly Effect and it wasn't scary it was just really sick, but it was so hilarious when Ashton Kutcher messed w/ time again and that time he ended up with no arms. I really think the writers of that movie wrote that scene just for laughs. So if you're interested in seeing Ashton Kutcher with prostetic arms I suggest you see the Butterfly Effect. 11:02 pm	A special find Today I went into TJ Maxx and found something really interesting. As I was looking through the journals and usually I look through the journal to see what kind of paper it has and in one of the journals someone wrote something. The first page had a phone number and a fax number and I think an adress and there was a brown paper towell with a recipe on it, the second page gave me some of the best basic advice that will stick with me it read "Do things and do it well. The acknowledgement will be worth it" I saved the paper towel with the recipe only because I wanted a tokken of what I found, but I didn't want to rip the piece of paper out because other people need to see it. I don't know who wrote this whether they're male or female doesn't matter, even though the hand writing is too girlish to be a guy, it was as if they wanted to tell a simple little thing to people like me. 10:34 pm	why need a title? yea so I actually didn't percrastonate on my english take home mid term.. i actually did it. Now I just have to make my study cards for all my other tests ... oh glory. I have a 3 day weekend for all that stuff. Well right now I can't think of my homework I already did my science and spanish during the snow day because I thought it was gonna be due the next day but it wasn't. 11:02 pm	wow i totally forgot this okay so tonight at dinner I was saying something about how its so screwed up because its my life. Believe me a lot of things seem not to work because it deals with me. Then my dad said something I actually understood. He said that for all the downs in life there will always come the ups. 10:18 pm	well now i can dye my hair okay so I was just talking to Christina.. this is kinda of funny but sort of sad. I told her that I'm dying my hair and I asked her if I should wait until after auditions then she was like "well it doesn't matter because we didn't get call backs so dye your hair." Wow... it was really pathetic I really wanted a callback I could taste it lol... but I'm just a freshman and its all good. Even though I wasted my time reading the script over and over then reading the part i wanted over and over again... really its all good. I'll just be that speck of dust of that spotlight (42nd Street.. 4:04 pm	what a nice day Today was a pretty nice day. This morning I got to my locker to find the pen cap thing out of it so i thought i was gonna struggle w/ opening my locker but I actually got it open! (snaps for Ali)I got a lot of happy comments on my shirt. After school I headed down to robotics to find out that there was no robotics and yes i did check both rooms. So, then I decided to head over to the middle school parking lot to see if Teddi was still there, but she left so then I walked in the middle school to take a short cut to the high school on my way I saw Pat. I totally thought he was mad at me when I called him up to invite him to the shin dig on Saturday, but I guess not since he was really nice to me when I saw him lol.
